We thoroughly enjoyed our spring break in beautiful Hawaii, made all the more enjoyable by our stay at this fantastic, spacious condo. The view from the wrap-around lanai is incredibly beautiful and mesmerizing, and we spent a lot of time there watching the ocean and the sunsets. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was so relaxing. This unit is so quiet and peaceful, and the location was great–close enough to get to various sites but far enough from the loudness and busyness of Kona. It was so nice to have a security gate and our own parking spot! We also appreciated the beautiful tennis courts (Thanks for having 4 decent tennis racquets available.) and large swimming pool that were available to us. We never did see turtles nearby, but we did see several of them at the Black Sand Beach on the way to Volcanoes National Park. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances worked well, and the welcome basket with fruit and treats was such a sweet touch! The air mattress for our son had a leak, but he was very comfortable on the sofa. The owner, Jacque, was so easy to work with and answered all our questions promptly. All in all, it was an incredible place to spend 10 days!

We have just returned from a wonderful month-long stay in this condo. It is as advertised – and much more: watching whales and dolphins from the lanai, crashing surf, tennis, etc. There was also much nearby as the condo is located at the centre of historical Ali’i Drive with its several historic, cultural and sacred Hawaiian sites. There are several beaches nearby for swimming, snorkeling and surfing. There is also easy access to the major roads for a short drive to Kailua, Captain Cook or beyond.
This was our first visit to Hawaii and to this condo; but, it will not be our last!
